The author of Ease solo performance is primarily interested in tactics and strategies with which we try to restore some of that childlike ease of being in the presence to the body and mind, and ways that allow us to break away from the clutter imposed on the individual by the rapid capitalist structure. The author plays with the methods people resort to in order to free themselves from the burdening shackles. She elicits established approaches and translates them into movement, gradually layers it and frees it from moulding recipes. Introducing irony and humour she breaks down the one-layered understanding and elevates the viewer to a lighter state.

Ana Romih is a choreographer, dance pedagogue, dancer, and co-founder of KUD Qulenium Ljubljana. She graduated from the SNDO dance academy in the Netherlands. In addition to dancing, she actively participates in the organization and implementation of the Kaleidoscope Festival in Kranj and Ljubljana and works as an independent creator (choreographer and dancer). Her work was awarded with the Meta Vidmar Gold Badge in 2015 and Meta Vidmar Charter in 2019, her play The Body Concert which she co-authored with Ben Novak was included in the Gibanica 2018 competition program, and her play Being Me (2018) received an award for concept and authorship at the Transgeneration 2019 festival. Dance miniatures in which she acts as a mentor at dance competitions in Slovenia (Pika Miga, Živa, Opus -1 dance miniature: national and international competition) receive gold medals.
